That there Steyr looks very nice. Have you tried it with cast bullets ?

I only shoot cast with it, I use the Lee 205gn Hungarian bullet, gas checked to .329 and get good results knocking fig 11's out to 300 yards with Rel 7 and LR/M primers.

Look what went for a day trip to Bisley 600yds yesterday one SVDS & one SVD. There was another SVD on the next point as well. ussrflag ussrflag

Several fellow shooters were most interested one chap offered money to have a go, well 5 rounds for free no problem. He has been thinking about getting one for ages, now he wants one...

Where did you get the extended bolt handle on the SVDS? Does it required any mods to the bolt?
