New LBP coming to the UK hopefully

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

Thats exactly what I thought. Does the locking mechanism of the glock need to be re-designed to satisy the home office as otherwise you could simply swap the barrel group/slide out for a full bore version.[/quote]

Low mill ranges, gsg 1911, sig sauer .22lr p226, all have removal barrels and slides and all save for the gsg can be replaced with a full bore slide assembly ! Since full bore slide assemblies are not readly available thus these .22 conversation kit gun are not section 5

Apologies for mine, i was replying off my phone and it gave me a limit to quoting more than 7 quotes. Then the misses was giving me grief for being on said phone while she is shopping.... all went tits up from there.

Interesting news from GSG I spoke to them recently regarding the Mauser semi automatic G43 and asked if there was a possibility of them reproducing this in .22LR Although not at this time, they informed me that it would make an interesting addition to there range
Here is hoping !

Not sure if it's been mentioned as the thread went off on a tangent... But the Firefly is actually in the country & at Edgar's being tested. The retail version should be here next month & will retail at the same price as GSG's 1911 I was told. Only available at launch in all black but FDE, ODG & a few other colour variants will follow on. I've 2x .22lr LBP slots available (although on the RFD so...) so have popped my name down for one out the first batch as we've ordered the first 10. Will do a bit of a review when I get my grubby fat fingers on it.

Sorry to go on another tangent, does your RFD limit your LBP hold?
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

Assuming this would come down to the same old justification of use.

Justification is the RFD and the intent to trade, use doesn't come in to it. It is not like an FAC where you have to justify the use of each firearm.

Though saying that and having just gone through my records, there are one or two RFDs that have a maximum firearm holding limit, so I guess they can add whatever limits they agree to at the grant.
