CZ511

I've had no luck so far, but does anyone know of a UK supplier for spare parts to the CZ511 semi-auto 22lr. I'm planning on buying an old one, and I just want to know where to go if/when I need any bits...

Edgar Brothers won't deal with the general public....only dealers. Secondly, I've been informed that they won't have any spares for a 511 in any case.

Hi,

While Edgar Brothers may not actually sell to the general public, a couple of years ago a I ordered a CZ550 from an RFD which took a long time to arrive. The RFD was a bit unresponsive, so I took to phoning Edgar Brothers directly to enquire about the status of the order. I found Edgar Brothers quite happy to speak to me as a member of the public on a number of occasions. They were extremely helpful.

I'd definitely give them a call, even if just to find our what your RFD is capable or ordering from them.

Thanks for the replies guy's, but I've decided to call it a day as regards the CZ511... I'll be looking for something else in semi-auto.

Most parts can be made to order at a good machine shop, don’t let lack of parts stop you getting the rifle you really want! Just my $.02 :)

Magazines are rare as hen's teeth I understand. So this project might be worth keeping an eye on if you do get one. It sounds close to fruition but I expect there is still a way to go for a commercial product to be available.

That was the first place i looked. For the cz511 they only sell the firing pin & spring....and they are currently out of stock (and have been for quite some time). Nevertheless thanks for replying.
