Hi Folks
Has anyone had experience of making a palm/ hand shelf for 3p shooting they can share. I shoot an Anschutz .22 supermatch the stock being a few inches too shallow to rest on my stumpy arm. The commercial shelves are about £200 - a bit steep at the mo. I wonder if anyone has built one, or can suggest a reasonably priced alternative.
Thanks
Ian

The stock is composite, the hamster uses an UIT rail

I bought one on ebay, cut it down and screwed it under the stock. If it is a wooden stock you could inlet it.
Alternatively, you could remove the grub screws, drill out the holes and screw it on directly, but in our case the 10/22 stock screw was in the way and I wanted the option to remove it if she didnt want it for rapid fire stuff.

Thanks for the advice on the Hamster handrest.
Arrived this morning. I have not had the chance to fire yet but I am impressed by the build quality. Beech wood rest with machined steel parts - from the images I was expecting 3d printed polymer. It fits the UIT rail on my Anschutz fine.
For ~£80 I am very happy. Look rugged enough to try on my FB as well.
Thanks

I just realised I hadn't replied, I was looking at this for my Air Arms, but think that it isn't as suited as some of the other options.
But thanks for the information
