Recommend me a 'Scope for my Sig522 ~
I'm not shooting my Sig522, mostly because the Vortex Sparc II red dot is not great for what I do...
Ideally, I'd like a <£200 'scope, around 1x to 6x, long eye relief, for shooting at 50m to 100m ranges.
All advice appreciated!

Simmons White Tail Classic, 1.5-6x20. Excellent quality scope and can be bought second hand for less than £100. There's one on eBay bidding at £85 right now:

I know from personal experience, I have used that exact scope at 25m using my Marlin 1894 and a couple of rimfire rifles. In terms of long eye relief, yes, they're not like pistol scopes for a revolver but they're pretty decent. There are many people on here who use this scope for the purpose of 25m shooting (Heck I've used it at 300m with 357mag but that's a different story!).

Really? I have one on my 10/22 for mini-rifle and have used as close as 10m. It will of course depend on what magnification you are using on how close you can get without losing focus.
it's a cracking little scope, a pity they stopped making making them, I would like another but not at the prices they seem to go for these days.

I use either 1x Vortex Spitfire on mine or BSA 1-4 from Optics Warehouse £40-00
but options could be
The new Konus 1-4 £150
Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 £290
Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8 £420
All prices from Opticswarehouse but could find cheaper elsewhere

With a set of Vortex rings will still be within your budget.
