To swivel or not to swivel
Looking for a bipod for off the table shooting up to 50 and looking at 6" - 9" bipods. ie Ebay Zeadio. The question is which is best, fixed with no movement or swivel and turn.... opinions please

Re: To swivel or not to swivel
Most of the ones I've come across tend to cant rather than swivel, so I always stick to a fixed bipod.
Re: To swivel or not to swivel
I prefer fixed too, but most seem to pivot in some way, really don’t like it but it’s a personal thing, I’d try both.

If shooting off a table - go for the basic fixed one. Assuming you can get the table / bench level.

And the level bit is the difficult part on wet muddy range ground as today.breacher wrote:If shooting off a table - go for the basic fixed one. Assuming you can get the table / bench level.

Re: To swivel or not to swivel
go for the swivel EVERY time, heaps better. if things are a bit off level , as soon as you shoulder the rifle fit it is good.
you can adjust the tension of the swivel to suit yourself too
