Ruger Ranch Rifle/Mini-14, 223/5.56

#1 Post by Mdwysc »

I have had this rifle for a few years now. I bought it so my son could shoot it at Bisley when he was younger (with special permission from the NRA and 1-1 supervision etc.). I obtained a second stock for it which has been shortened by about an inch so he could shoot it safely. Changing the stock takes around a minute.
It is a fun gun to shoot, seems to take any ammo (It's a 1 in 9 I think) and he enjoyed it.
The top cover on the hand guard has been milled sown to fit a scope with a 40mm objective lens. I have not looked into getting another one but with a bit of a search I'm sure one could be found. It has an original 5 round mag, an original 20 round mag and a non original 10 round mag. The non Ruger 10 round mag is good for holding open doors but not feeding ammo.
My son is now older and full member of the NRA so has moved onto my 308, I have no need for this rifle any more. The scope is not included in the sale but the rings are as they have the Ruger mount.
£350.00 face to face or RFD to RFD buyer pays the fees. I do go to Bisley quite often but am not up there next until 21st/22nd April you may pick up at my place in mid Kent. Any questions, requests for more pictures etc message me.
