Just a thought, can it be formed from another calibre brass cartridge case?
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.

.348 Win is as hard to find. If anybody has any will take it. Although I am not sure I could bring myself to cut it up as I own a Winchester 71 which is the only rifle chambered in it.
8x50R Lebel head is slightly bigger and better for creating Vetterli brass which is what I am up to.
Thanks, Tim

It's seasonal Brass apparently, Peter Starley got my last batch.
I cut it up :D it's usefull for 8x60R,12.7×44, 11.15x58R & 10.4 Swiss, plan on trying Lebel brass sometime though.

Seems more 348 brass is used in other rifles than in Winchester 71s... Sure that's only reason it is still around!

Have heard Lebel is actually better for Swiss 41. Some on order see if it ever turns up.

In the US next month but not risking any gun components - incl brass - which is frustrating.

I am told Reloading Solutions were listing .348 Win cases.

Reimer Johannsen might be worth trying.
