So, i though perhaps i should get one, trim up the stock a bit, mount a decent scope and moderator and use it for the rougher night shooting. I rarely shoot deer beyond 200yds in the dark

That's an interesting thing to be admitting to. Night shooting of deer used to be an offence; is it no longer?

Thanks JonC: I imagine that getting such a licence will be very difficult unless there is a proven and accepted need.

Yeah,

I bought one in the end for the pricely sum of £195. It appeared totally unused and never shot.

It's now with a gunsmith mate who likes to tinker, is manufacturing a scope rail, altering the stock, bedding, etc.

I'll post pics when it comes back.
