Re: AK .22 conversion!
They seem happy to supply a single kit at a discount price to meet regulations.
Just trying to find an RFD who want to take on the initial receiving of the sample item and also the import and supply of a number of them going forward.
Did I just use the phrase “going forward”?
I’m sorry. So sorry.
Email from them:
Hello; Yes, we'd be pleased to supply you with a sample at the special price.
We see no problems with the Romanian straight pull as long as the receiver rails have not been modified.

Why don't you try and import it yourself? If you've got the free slot on your FAC you effectively have an Import License and that's it.safetyfirst wrote:Ok. RFD sorted, I’ll start trying to import one.

Re: AK .22 conversion!
Interesting idea but as I’d need an RFD to import 50 of them....
Plus it’s just a change of address for the sender, not much of an issue. I’d rather not dabble in things I’ve no experience of to add to the already lengthy negotiations and export licenses!
:)

You might need an agent to clear it through customs and sort out all the VAT and duty costs .safetyfirst wrote:Interesting idea but as I’d need an RFD to import 50 of them....

Interesting, I’ll post back when I have some more movement on this.
Need to speak to the exporter in the states next.

Would this work with a Saiga also?
