Many thanks for that. I see you shoot at Stourport. I’m planning on doing the Rook and Rabbit competition there later this year. A few members from out club already shoot it.

I forgot to mention the rim problem. Some 310 rifles will handle the 32-20 rim with no problems, other require the rim thinning. If you have one of these, make the split sleeve slightly shorter. Then, after shortening the reformed case, tap it partly out of the sleeve with a steel or brass rod, reverse it in the lathe chuck and use the parting off tool to thin the rim slightly. i fine that this is easlly done by eye and have made many cases for other shooters by this method. My own rifle does not need the rims thinning.
