My grandson's 9th birthday is coming soon and I plan to buy a short stock 28bore or maybe a 20bore for myself to celebrate his birthday!
Nothing special, just something for him to start learning with - obviously under supervision &c.
Does anyone have an unwanted small bore lying in te back of a cabinet that needs a new home?

Just to follow up on this.
Grandson was with me at the Hatfield Game Fair and tried various things.
He has decided that he would like to start with an air rifle and then move up in a year or two. So, now need to look for a cheap junior sized, possibly PCP for him.
