I also tried to source these in the UK but the Privi importer couldn't be bothered importing any.
I've bought the Lee DC C329-205-1R and cast some up ready to try in my .318 Nitro, it's a gas check design but I've not found any definitive as to if it takes an 8mm GC or its a case of sizing down a .338. Some posts say it's the 8mm as trying the .338 crushes the check so I might have to take the plunge and try some 8mm first.
PM me if you'd like a few samples to try, I know Lee Moulds aren't every one's choice but short of a custom mould there's not much choice in this bullet diameter at the moment.
Mike

Hello
Thanks Mike.
I have also tried everywhere, its impossible to find any for my Steyr M95.
Internet search has revealed that it is possible to resize 0.338 FMJs, but they are vey expensive @ around £48/100
I did not want to get into casting, but it may be the only way.
I have asked Prvi Partisan directly for help in sourcing there product, if I get a positive response I will keep you informed.
Bill

8mm gas checks are the correct size for the Lee 205gn .329 cast bullet.
I use them for my Steyr stutzen carbine.

I cast my own.
All I can suggest is, that you put out an enquiry on the reloading forum.

My thanks to UK Rifleman for confirming the size of the gas check needed, time to get crimping, what powder are you using for cast?
I have been also sizing down .338" jacketed in two stages which is a labor of love and indeed jacketed aren't cheap but when you look at the cost of .330" Woodleigh and for me the cost of .318 Nitro ammunition it's not so bad. It's just a shame that no one imports the Privi 205 grain bullets as looking at US prices they are cheap.

Hello
PPU ridiculous situation regarding supply of .329 FMJs.
Henry Kranks don't stock them, and wont be doing so!.
Both German and Austrian stockists wont supply to the UK.
Will try France next, watch this space
