Erma EM1 carbine...parts needed

#1 Post by walesdave »

Hi All,

Putting this here because I don't know how many people read the 'Shooting related - wanted' thread :good:

I need an operating slide for my Erma EM1 carbine but can't find anyone supplying them either in the UK or US.

ITL can supply a new titanium replacement but at £90 + shipping it's almost 75% the cost of the rifle - I only paid £135 for it! I've no problem with the ITL price, I'm sure it's worth it, but I've got deep pockets and short arms 8-)

So, anyone know of an EM1 being broken down or of any used operating slides sitting in a parts bin.....please give me a shout.

Cheers

David :wales:

the ITL op-rod is Aluminium, and looking at the retail price of the rifles its probably not a bad price, especially seeing as even the yanks seem to rate it as rare, good luck but I think you will be paying the rate as it seems the op-rod is a weak point in the design, especially if HV is put through it

Cheers Dark Skies - your Google skills put mine to shame thankssign

His website has pretty much everything an EM1 owner could want....at decent prices as well, even with shipping etc. added on.

Just ordered the operating slide and waiting for payment instructions via email - I think they want a bank transfer rather than Paypal or credit card.

Thanks again
