So.... 6 flute, 8 flute or more/less flutes?

I have a barrel to flute and am dithering over patterns and there is no point asking the customer as it is me!

Thoughts anyone?

Aesthetically the middle one looks good (using a bit of imagination!) and appears to have a good amount of surface area for cooling.

Left to right:

6x6mm flutes at 50% depth
8x5mm flutes at 50%
6x6mm flutes at 50%
