Out of interest, what sort of range is it visible to?

These devices put a collimator grid above the bore on the bore axis. Mainly used when installing riflescopes or checking zero. They are not the laser projector type (which rarely work anyway)

Used the club one tonight in the Club committee room to sight in an Accuracy International.
