A new member and Enfield rifle collector
Hello all, Enfield dream here. I'm from the states, Rhode Island, the smallest state in the union. Rhode Island is below Massachusetts and Boston is about an hour north. We are known as the ocean state and have 400 miles of coastline because of Narragansett Bay. Don't want to rub any salt in the wound, but while America claimed independence from Britain July 4th 1776 that was the other 12 colonies. Rhode Island itself declared independence on May 4th 1776 a few years after burning the British warship Gaspee in June 1772.
I have been a gun collector since I was 15 and am enjoying collecting even more since I retired a few years ago from the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office where I was a fingerprint classification technician.
And what do I like to collect and shoot the most? Why the British Enfield, the best bolt action military rifle ever made! Ask the Germans.

A few rules for American members:
- You are not allowed to mention how easy it is to purchase firearms in the US;
You are not allowed to say how cheap and easy it is to buy reloading components;
and it is definitely forbidden to post photos of expansive collections of beautiful Lee Enfields!!

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
