Russian Winchester 1895

#1 Post by Sfwh »

I know these are very rare so it's a bit of a long shot but I am looking for a Russian Winchester 1895 with the clip guide. This would be to own as a shooter so it would need to be in shootable condition. If anyone is looking to sell one or knows someone who is, please message.

All Russian contract M1895 Winchester muskets will have the charger bridge.Your best bet would be to search some of the dealers in Finland, prices are a lot better than they would be here and quality is likely to be higher as they still turn up original matching examples.Good luck with finding one over here, I've been keeping my eye out for quite a while now as has someone else I know........

They have been discussed previously

I've been looking for one for about 5 years.

closest i got was a sporterized one for sale at auction. the winner found that even though it had been proofed as 7.62x54r is turned out to have been rechambered

I just saw this and remembered this post... this will make you all very, very sad (deactivated):

However, there is a Krag version, albeit sporteried, if it's just the action/rifle itself you're after and aren't fussed about the calibre!
