This is an Arisaka Type 38 carbine in 6.5mm Japanese. The Type 38 was made from 1905 to 1945. This one is in very nice condition and is all matching, including the dust cover and retains the chrysanthemum. The cleaning rod is a reproduction though as I bought it and added it to the rifle. This is my nicest Arisaka.
