Festive Salutations!
I've got to tackle some chicken raiding foxes in the near future and rather than sitting for hours with my fingers crossed I'm hoping my FoxPro will help to call them in. Can anyone recommend some reliable fox calls (in MP3 format) and where I can download them from?
I've been considering recording some of the farmers ducks who always make a racket when I walk by and then play that through the FoxPro. Has anyone tried that?

Like other walks of life, stalking has its scammers. All of the free to download sites seem to have gone these days and you are probably as well off making your own. I still reckon just squeaking them in as good a way as any.

Normally visit the same time on a regular basis, if you use a trail cam with a time stamp I’d be confident they will be back almost the same time the next night.
Leave them a treat to ensure they will come back.

I have never used any gadgets to call them in, try imitating a rabbit squealing caught by a stoat and foxes think there is a free meal over there I can take from the stoat, the fox runs in. You need to be down wind a sniff of you and they won’t come.
As already advised a trail cam giving you information on the route to chickens is great but i don’t have one, I just search for scrapes where they are getting under wire and other evidence
If there is a lot of cover foxes can get very close before you see them so if this is the situation I take a shogun in stead of a rifle. The last chicken farm I shot on calling them in, it was three foxes in five hours spread over three evenings.
