Probationary Members of affiliated clubs do not require an SCC. Club Guest Day attendees do not require an SCC but have to complete a Section 21 declaration form at all events.
brilliant, so I can just turn up with something appropriate (SMLE and M1Carbine) and join in? definitely interested in a meet up then.

No reason not to put on a couple round the country.
As I am Bisleycentric how about a day of 300yard McQueens?
Or - dare I say it - Chobham ridges?
I dont mind travelling up t`north.

I'd like to put faces to some of the names on here.

Count me in for definite if it's down Bisley/Chobham way, and a strong maybe for up north/ southern Scotland.

Chobham ridges sounds fun, but damned expensive at £100 a head for five people. You'd want plenty of rounds to get your range fee's worth in.
Careful now/that sort of thing

Dont really want to start the "Chobham" debate all over again but you will probably spend more on ammo than the fee.
I am biased but it really is a hoot. Not like you are forced into doing it every week! Just think how much you have saved over the past 6 months by not going shooting. Piles of ammo just sat there taunting you.

Booking a Board meeting at Marc Gardner's range in Eskdalemuir would be an awesome opportunity to met up in Dumfriesshire and release some canned bangs back into the wild !
