Anyone who has had it, have you got or been offered any paperwork to prove it?

YES.

Why would you have to prove you have had it. You are given a card the size of a credit card with the date of your first jab and the date of your second appointment written in ink by the nurse. Once you have had the second dose you chuck it in the bin.

Hope to be offered it in the next few months but we had a rough time with covid before Christmas so I think we have some immunity before we get the jab.

I had the AZ vaccine in the 2nd week of Feb, no symptoms or clots! Sadly the doctor used an old bayonet technique and skewered me to the wall, it really was like injections from my childhood!

I was given a blue card with date batch etc.

It seems to be a common complaint of the injections being painful. I strongly believe that this is due to the majority of people giving the injections are newly trained for the purpose of giving out this vaccine and haven't developed the painless technique that more experienced stabbers have.Cookisan wrote:I had the AZ vaccine in the 2nd week of Feb, no symptoms or clots! Had both doses of Pfizer. Standard blue card but I can access my GP records and both doses are on there.
Ist dose was painless from a nurse
2nd sore after from an ambulance paramedic.
Neither 23ga needle really compares to a 16ga dialysis needle.

Not had mine yet. A good friend had his a few weeks ago - whilst waiting the 15 mins after the jab, he started to feel sick in the stomach after 6 min, hands swelled and went purple two minutes later and then he lost vision. He recalls people shouting at him to stand up and then came round in the back of an ambulance. He was okay after a few minutes thankfully.
Also heard of a few people who have felt there were so cold they could not stop shaking but they were lathered in sweat as they were burning up. This lasted for a few days.
I cant see why if they have people not turning up, they don't just go and get people in off the street - surely that's better than wasting vaccine.

Remember, we're all here because we're not all there!
