Swiss Bayonets for sale Part 1

#1 Post by mag41uk »

Top: 1878. Probably a rare musicians variant as the handle groove is filled in and it has no serial number. Would have fitted the Vetterli. It retains its original leather sheath. The blade is in excellent condition - two tiny nicks. £295
2nd from top: 1914 Pioneer. Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Superb condition. The blade is immaculate - and quite scary! There is no serial number so suspect it was never issued. Bayonets were serial numbered to the rifle at the issuing armoury. I doubt you will find a better one. Scabbard in great condition. Fits K11 carbine and K31. £345.
3rd from top: 1914 Pioneer. Serial number is 1129 and the blade is marked H.stW and 1933. The blade on this is excellent. A couple of very minor pitting.
Would fit the K11 Carbine and the K31 short rifle. Scabbard has wear marks. £300.
4th from top: 1871 Vetterli bayonet. Serial number 1265. Its in great condition given its age. No scabbard. £175
Bottom: 1889/92 Cyclists bayonet. Serial number is 75993. This and its scabbard are in exceptional condition. These are rare and I doubt you will find another in this condition. Fits 1911 carbine and 1889 rifle. £495

I will be listing a few 1918 and 1899 pattern bayonets shortly.

Not sure about posting these but I am Bisley regularly.
