78 years ago today my Uncle Charlie, a Canadian Soldier in the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment was killed in action in Sicily (Operation Husky) fighting people who wliked to experiment on people and either wipe them out or subjugate them.

Such an enemy also forced people they considered as "inferior" to wear badges that excluded them from places and travel and ensured they were treated as second class citizens - or disposable and ensured that people always had to show their papers please on demand! Their businesses were destroyed and properties confiscated and given to the party faithfull!

Looking at what's going on in the world right now I need to ask - "What was the fricking point"! This entire scenario is being rolled out again across the planet and people are actually HAPPY to accept it and comply! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had "Freedom Day" and now everything in the garden is rosy.

Covid is really a state of mind and if the 100,000 + that have died from it hadn't "cowered" in fear they would have lived, so there you have it. Simple now we can just go on as if the whole episode had never happened just a bit of mass hysteria that is all it was.

Society globally is more divided than ever over various issues and the division being created between the vaccinated/unvaccinated, mask wearers/non-mask wearers is yet another wedge driving society apart......divide and conquer comes to mind.

Some will say "put your tin-foil hat on" or "you're talking rubbish" but I believe this, and other things that are going on is all part of something larger and insidious and I believe it will ultimately lead to the formation one global central government that will control every aspect of peoples lives and it will be ushered in off the back of a major event such as an even worse pandemic that will make this one look like a trial run (perhaps a "deadlier" Covid variant?) or a major enviromental disaster or whatever and it will be sold to the masses as being the only way to ensure the future of mankind and that it's formation will be for our own good and will also save the enviroment etc etc but in reality it will be a global bureucratic socialist government that will make the old USSR look like Utopia.

If you look at the United Nations Sustainable Developement Goals and Agenda 2030 those goals won't be achieved with sovereign nations all working toward them at different rates as they are now and the only way those goals can and will be achieved is through there being one global central government controlling everything from the production and distribution of food and resources to where people live and work, it has already been stated that they want the worlds population to live in "walkable cities" where private transport is no longer required, thereby reducing emissions, as everything you need from work to food and leisure activities are all provided in identical city blocks and people in rural areas will be relocated into the cities and the countryside will be set aside for food production on massive collective farms.......as an example of a walkable city is The Line

If you were a rational person given to sensible discussion I might bother to spare you more time than it took to type this. But I can feel my long dead grandfather standing behind me (British Expeditionary Force, Dunkirk, North Africa, Sicily, Italy and finally Berlin) "you're not seriously going to entertain replying to his absurd rant?"

As a libertarian I'm not at all happy with a lot of measures and will not be co-operating with them and protest them (apart from the mask - I really like not being bothered in the street).
