Wanted, aluminium butt plate

I am after an aluminium butt plate for a rifle, I want to make a two way adjustable plate and need some donor parts so anything considered please before I head off to eBlag to look for some 8mm plate.

That is similar to what I have in mind however I will need to keep the weight down considerably as it is for my Jagtfeltskydning rifle.

This is the sort of thing I want to build but lighter.

The Gracoil pad plate adjusts up or down and side to side.

We have a Tubb 4-way I could use however it is quite a lump and the Graco standard does look good and gives me the in/out and up/down I need. Biggest thing is keeping weight down hence looking at building my own.

So you are looking for a lump of aluminium right.
How big a piece do you need I will have a look in our scrap bin no guarantees but if there is any thing like you want you can have it.

Alpha1 - I something to make three plates, 6"x2" or a tad bigger in 8mm or 3/8" ish is fine.
