Recently obtained some H&N 45gr bullets to try. Has anyone got any experience of using these as a hunting round in the 22 Hornet, as they are a thin copper coated lead plain RN bullet, or any load data to share.
Not sure if post Brexit has effected their availabilty in the UK, as they no longer seem offered for sale, but an incredibly cheap round to load. I'm looking forward to trying them out.

The H and N are no longer supplied to the uk by the German producers.. surprised you have some.. only ever used them as target rounds, not terribly accurate.

Used at Sywell range in Hornet and .222.. at 50/100 yards.. the H and N have a " high speed coating" over the copper plating.. the 55gn are more accurate.. I am down to the last box..
