Hello

#1 Post by Woodshot »

Hi Everyone,
I am based in Chester-le-Street, Durham and have been shooting for about 18 months now, I absolutely love shooting full bore and black powder, I have done a number of 'Range Days' now and find it so
enjoyable and interesting, can't get enough, this Sunday may be my next 'fix'. My indoor .22 shooting is currently at the Barbican Club, good bunch of guys down there.

Welcome to F-B(UK) Woodshot, we seem to have a few forum members in your neck of the woods and it sounds like a good place to be shooting wise.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, appreciate it, in answer to your query Rob, I am into reloading, mainly .308 for my T4, bit daunting at first, but with assistance from a couple of very experienced shooters, I am progressing.

Hi ovenpaa,

Yes its a Parker Hale Model T4, it has a heavy barrel, which is 'floating' if that is the right term, on the stock, I have a Harris Bipod fitted as its such a heavy weapon, but with the Parker Hale Aperture sights it is one accurate rifle.

Ah! The PH T4 - that is also a good looking one as well. What distances do you shoot it to?

Hi Woodshot - Welcome to the forum

I have something similar, and it shoots out to 1000 yrds with reasonable accuracy - Have you tried shooting it with a sling...TR (target rifle) style?
