.22 AR15 trigger
Morning all.
My faithfull JP trigger broke yesterday, actually just the hammer snapped. I think someone may have dry fired it. :(
So I'm in the market for a not too expensive replacement, prefer single stage but would go with a 2 stage if the price is right. What do you guys recommend?

Hi mate, if you can find one in stock you can’t go wrong with a CMC.

CMC or Geissele of whatever type you want should give good service.
Rock River Arms do a nice two stage trigger too.

Re: .22 AR15 trigger
A friend of mine was looking for one recently and I was looking at some of the ones I have/have had in the past and unfortunately I couldn't find anything 'decent' for less than £250 Prices seem to have gone nuts.
A factory trigger with some lightened springs is probably going to be the most cost effective way to do it.

Thanks guys.
I think CMC is the way to go eventually, everyone seems to be out of stock at the moment.
I think for now I will have to use a mil spec hammer with the JP trigger, should hopefully work.

Firing Solutions and Blue Fieldsports have some stock of CMC triggers (or at least their websites claim so). I have one in my 15-22 and its a nice trigger.

Thanks for that. I can't afford to drop £250 on a trigger right now (just spent £500 on an air compressor and some mill accessories) but will go down that route come next pay day.

Just be aware, if you suddenly start experiencing light strikes it is possible that, if you changed the hammer spring, it isn't up to the job on rimfire cartridges.Ben Denise wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 1:43 pm Thanks guys.
