Thanks for that Watcher......I used to have lots of old US Gun Mags dating back to the 60s but they got thrown away. Note the lack of adverts.

I did it to myself a few months back and was cheesed off for days. I even found a copy of Guns & Shooting which featured an article on Seb Coe when he took over as president of the National Pistol Association..... (Four letters begining with "C" that is deemed the most offensive possible! :evil: :evil: :evil: )

I downloaded the 'Gun' edition for my birth date (January 1959 ) and found this!

My Birthday edition from October '57 (So you are not the oldest on here! ) lists a very nice Webley Mk VI chambered in .45 ACP for USD14.95, ammo is another USD6/100 and a leather holster is another three dollars.

They are also selling 30-06 1903 Springfields for USD39.95, a cartridge that has never appealed to me but at that price I could be tempted...
