I dont understand why people think renewals that take only a couple of months are are a good thing Cleveland renewals are on average two weeks. I can get a one for one the same day by letting them know I have an apointment then popping into the Police Hub and grabing a Cup of Coffee while they sort it out.

I agree, I too don't understand shooters heaping praise on their particular police service for simply providing the service levels that they should have been providing all along.
It's as if we have all become accustomed to poor or at best a mediocre service and as a result our expectations are low.

The Met are fairly efficient but are often slowed down by references or their e-mail system!

Plus another problem. The Met will NOT accept application sent by courier or delivered by hand, it has to be e-mail or Royal Mail - security apparently, and password protected files which protect our data are not accepted. Then, I cannot attend for an interview or to pick up the certs!
