Off-forum Messaging
Hi Admins,
I understand the restrictions on forum PMs within the board until some reputation has been established. Should I wish to discuss something with another member that involves details not for public consumption, am I allowed to post an email address for that member to reply to directly if they wish?

Or publically ask them to send you a Private Message - you then reply.

Polchraine, I think that might be the naughty option! I suspect I'd be able to read a PM, but not reply to it...

Re: Off-forum Messaging
Evening all,
I have just had a member PM be regarding my L42 clone project and I would like to give him some private contact details for where to acquire some parts they are interested in. What is the criteria needed to be met to reply to PMs, or shall I provide them a disguised email on a public post as suggested above?
Thank you.

You need to have made 30 meaningful posts to access the PM function and the for sale forum.
