As soon as I have had a lunch and a few days to cool down I will regale all with with my ..........

and epic failure!

Heck I even got "slapped" by MikMak!!!

But first I must thank some people for never ending support and patience 20series and Ovenpaa :cheers:

Poor 20series I swear he though he was living in a Monty Pyton Skit.... !
Anyway thanks to people like 20series and Ovenpaa our trails and tribulations are bearable!

GOOD POINTS
1. I have an AWESOME gun built by MikMak .. truly amazing firearm!! (yeah _ i saw earlier thread about weapons :-)
2. 20Series did fairly well
3. I actually cannot literally do worse next year!! :lol:

Ah, but at least you shot, some old fool 'lost' his bolt and didn't shoot at all, except in the team match this morning with a borrowed gun, and I still shot like a Tango Zero!

It definatley helps to keep a sense of humour - My first Phoenix a few years ago went a bit the same way by the sounds of it, but after I got over the initial annoyance, it actually spured me on...

Well I think a huge well done needs to go to everyone who actually got to the competition and pulled the trigger regardless of how they ultimately got on, and getting on the paper is always a plus (ENS pat yourself on the back mate)

I am very disappointed not to have made the competition as I have been looking forward to it for ages so it was quite a blow to have to cancel. Sooo.... you guys need to post up all of your trials, tribulations, highs and lows to make up for what I missed. :goodjob:

Who knows, I may even be able to explain why I missed the comp and what I have managed instead in a few days time.

Only to pleased to be of help nice getting to know you, i'm sure it'll be the first of many such outings as soon as you get sorted.

In fairness entering the worlds biggest f-class comp with a new rifle, scope and unknown load also limited competition experience was always going to a challenge :shock:

In the firm belief that it is only practice which will help you improve, I plan, in retirement, to get my 'F' kit out more often. I shall be posting my own target bookings on here and inviting forummers to join me. There is also the NRA shooting club for members.

'F' kit will not be a requirement to join in, anything which will shoot over the hill will be welcome. It will normally be an 'F' class target.

Who knows, next year there could be a 'Forummers team' in the Europeans?
