Good Evening....
Hi All!
I have been lurking here for a while, and thought I would join to add my two cents when appropriate.., and sometimes when not !
Many thanks to Christel for letting me get this far......
As my screen name suggests, I am a farmer (!), located in Derbyshire, and though I have been shooting for some years, have only recently gone the FAC route for vermin control, since the "little darlings" were outbreeding my ability to control them. We even got a couple of other shooters involved to get on top of the problem, and despite their stirling work, we are still over run. Corvids are the main issue, ( though, frankly, wabbits aren't far behind..), and summer has tended to be the worst time, as when the young fledge, they seem to enjoy their "line dancing classes" ( in clogs ), on the house roof, at first light.... such joy... and knocking on the windows, that's a great game too! I managed to video the little s***'s on one occasion - I'll post it up when I work out how.

Welcome to FB! What part of Derbyshire are you in?
We had a manky old crow that used to turn up and pull the lead beading off the outside of the window in my office, listed or not it made quite a mess of it, I do wonder if it got lead poisoning in the end...

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

Welcome
I had to Google 'Corvids' as I had no clue what a Corvid was. Today, I have learnt something.
