I thought this was a great story until I got to this bit right at the end...

Thinking about this just now made me wonder what happened to all that ejected brass? Was it contained within the wing or did it drop straight out to atmosphere? Hopefully one of our ex-airmen will be able to answer that one - or perhaps it's common knowledge and I've just led an 'even-more-sheltered-than-I thought' life!

It came out of slots in the bottom of the wing; I know through years of making Airfix models!!

I did laugh when Snow put on body armour and a helmet to fire the thing!
