Im particulary drawn to the Springfield though.Its got a beautiful finish on the wood (i like old rifles).

The Springfield is dated 43 & the No4 is 42 :shock:

The blond K98 pictured is the nicest K98 I have ever seen, I practically Joined the forum just to tell you that, really nice K98, all are nice rifles pictured, though that K98 stands out.

CK, did you finish the stock on the No4 yourself, if so, how did you do it? What's the fit of the brass butt plate like?

I havnt done anything to it mate, its all as I bought it. with regards to the butt plate - seems to be fitted perfectly
