Nice collection Blu. Not familiar with the Autos they look good though. Can't beat a 357 S&W Revolver.
Here's a list of the stuff I owned before the Ban. Interesting story on the cased Vostok 22, after Dunblane the Cops came to see me, apparently that Vostock used to belong to Thomas Hamilton, and according to their records I was the next owner, they wanted to know if I new him, I said that I had bought it from a Glasgow Gun Dealer and showed them the receipt, they took a statement and I never heard another thing. The gun was mentioned in the official enquiry.
Vostock 22lr

S&W Mod 17 22lr
S&W 455 Rev

Ruger Blackhawk 45
Star PD 45 Auto

25Pdr, Man that must have broken your heart when you gave up your collection after the ban, I know I would have been gutted. I'm not a big pistol shooter, not bad though as I hit what I point at. I much prefer shooting rifle.

Blu, is that P91 a Walther "P99 a like" by any chance???? There seems to be two Walther looking pistols there. We should all come over and try them out, in the interests of science of course

Being on holiday means we get to play with things that we aren't normally allowed to, todays toys are two of the latest from Wilson Combat Arms and I have to say they are the best I have ever messed with, but at $3250 each they ain't the cheapest but if I could Santa would be getting a letter with one of these on.

Hadn't realised the tricked-out 1911s had got that expensive! Perhaps it's just as well we can't have 'em!
Cheers

Re: For 25Pdr
Stuart, Wilson Combat has always been a bit pricey, I could be wrong but I always thought folks were paying for the name in part as well. There are a lot of 1911's over here just as good and costing a lot less.
I never liked the 1911 much myself, I've a had a couple over the years but just couldn't take to them. That Ruger P345 I have there, now I love that gun, never had a problem with feeding, very accurate and it has a camblock system that reduces felt recoil by around 50% compared to other .45's. Even my wife who doesn't like heavy recoil guns enjoys shooting it.

Re: For 25Pdr
Whilst you cannot see it the Tactical Elite version of the two (Wood grips) has a heavy bull barrel which reduces felt recoil to 38 Sp levels, however unfortunately they aren't mine and I think you are right in that there are a lot of guns out there that are better value for money. Just means I have to keep trying them all
