I went for the biggest Brattonsound Gun Safe and my F Class rifle fits in it easily, with lots of room to spare (it is laying down, so I can use that room). I also went for the 3 shelf ammunition safe which is now bolted to the rifle safe as well as the floor.
Depending where you put them, you may need help with lifting them they are bloomin heavy and no job for husband and wife team.

Keep an eye out on the small adds as well as eBay, there are quite a few SH models on the market,

Brattonsound are excellent and their on site warranty is worth the paper it is written.

However, in hindsight I may have gone for a Sentry Safe with a keypad as going to get keys can be a pain in the butt. If you are like me, you'll quickly find that the safes with ammo storage don't allow you to store much ammo. An Argos special at around £55 will swallow all the ammo you can throw at it and is a good place to keep your keys if you go for a Brattonsound.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Another vote for Brattonsound. Shop around though, they do seem vary in price.

I went for a separate ammo safe too because the built-in ones looked small to me.

I got the RD7+ gun safe and a PD7 for ammo.

Mind you a gun room is far better if you can pull it off, saves getting the firearms all dinged and scratched as you take them in and out. I had 14 gun safes on three levels of the house before I made my gun room. It was a right chew on all those safes.

Ignore them and look at Brattonsound plus a digital safe or two for ammunition. Oh and go for an extra tall deep seven rifle safe, you are going to need it
