Evening All
I thought I’d take the time to introduce myself, as I've been using the forum for quite some time from a far, and thought it's about time I become a member. I've been target shooting for the last few years, and have held my FAC and SGC for the past 7 month, so would still describe myself as still a bit of a newbie, however I am that the stage where I really want to get into reloading my own ammo.
I look forward to discussing this subject, any many other shooting related topics in the near future.
Regards
Seanw

Welcome to the forum SeanW, good to hear you have signed up at last
What distances do you shoot to? It does make a difference to the loads you build, if you are working at closer distances you have less need to try and attain high MV's or look at the more exotic bullets, as an example I have tremendous results with .308 167 Lapua Scenars out to 600 but for me beyond that I have to change as I cannot get sufficient velocity and accuracy.
Anyway, ask away!

Welcome Sean, where you at?
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Re: Evening All
Thankyou all, for your warm welcome, its a pleasure to meet you all.
At present we shoot anywhere from 100 yards up to 1000yards (223/5.56,303,308,300) however 300/600yards would be one that we have the most range time on. Also shoot LBR .38/.357 out to 25yards so i've a lot to learn :-). just purchased a new AIA No4 so will no doubt be quizzing you good be people of your expereinces getting it on target, and zeroed in.
Based in South West good Ole country folk,
Thanks Again

Hi Tower.75
To be honest, I am really into small-bore precision prone,( just wish my average would get better :-() and shooting full bore gallery, got a lovely Marlin 1884ccs which I adore, ex-service No4 Mark 11 gotta to love them, although they kick like a mule, and full on 308/.300 target over varying distances.
Still learning and enjoying every minute of it.
regards

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
