Tell you what, boys and girls. Well annoyed. Posted my variation request and FAC on 12 January, recorded, and Royal Mail STILL have my letter.

What the Hell? Why pay for 1st Class if it would be quicker to walk it to Police HQ

I'm guessing you'll be complaining, but not by letter? :-P

I know it wont help, by I always hand my certificate in. I am lucky enough to work in Chelmsford.

Thanks for the crossed fingers, boys and girls. Must've worked.

Got my variation through for an "8mm" and "7.5mm" :shakeshout:

Didn't have to list cartridges, only calibre.

Odd thing is, though. I posted the application, 1st class, Recorded, on 12 January. I checked everyday on the online tracker to see if my application had been delivered, but it kept telling me that the application was "en route, not delivered". Checked it this morning too, said the same thing.

I rang up Police HQ last week and the beginning of this week to see if they had it, just in case, they told me that they haven't received my application, but they are a week behind on paperwork, so it might be here somewhere... possibly.

Then, all of a sudden, my FAC turns up today

All very odd, but I've got it now.

Reckon I'll be looking to get some new toys after May
