To be honest we've all been overlooking the obvious candidates for most beautiful plane ever built:

But then I have never thought the Spitfire was an especially handsome aircraft. Give me a Mustang, Thunderbolt, Tempest or Sea Fury any day!

Ugly dept: Westland Whirlwind, Boulton Paul Defiant and Blenheim..

Defo Hunter, Spitfire Vulcan and Mosquito...HMM the Bucaneer wasn't too bad....

Saw a Blackbird at PIMA Air museum, now THAT is impressive kit. They also have a B29 and B17 you can have a peek inside, outdoors there are a couple of B52's and loads of other stuff, various Migs, F111's, Sabres, Thunderchiefs etc all the good stuff from Vietnam war era..

they even got a Hurricane and a Hunter.
