Welcome Patrik, I do wonder if a Swedish male sort of cancels out the Viking female, a ying and yang thing maybe. I do note she chooses to use Danish and not Swedish

Sweden is a beautiful country and I am yet to meet a Swede (Outside of cities) who was not a hunter of some sort and given the number of Deer I am not surprised.

Have you decided what sort of rifle you want to shoot in the UK yet and don't worry about the NRA, I am sure they will contact you very shortly :good:

Well I am from the south east. A part called Smaland... Historically I am not far off from being a Dane myself, but we managed to hold on :goodjob:

My uncles and cousins on both sides used to be farmers and hunted all their lives. My sisters husband is a super keen hunter and they have some 500 acres of sporting land which is combined with the neighbours to form several thousand acres of forest, lakes and fields. It's pretty spectacular up there as its also next to the sea :). To top that off he is also a professional chef, so it's more than nice to pop over once in a while. :shakeshout:

The application to the NRA is because I would like to shoot F T/R class eventually. I am some 60 miles away from Bisley so hopefully they will accept me fingerscrossed not exactly sure how it works yet but I guess time will tell. I read on here that you can't book a target if your not a full member so not sure how easy it will be to gain experience...

Cheers again guys,

Oh we have our own fur coat, and we're a protected species, but wouldn't it be a bit risky for Moose over there?
