Welcome indeed :)

Hi, the term Geordiebloke maybe a giveaway as I live in Newcastle upon Tyne.dromia wrote:Welcome to Full-Bore UK Geordiebloke.

I shoot benchrest at Diggle and F class at Diggle, Blair Atholl and Bisley but only go for the beer and curry nights out which are brilliant.
My name is Les Prior and am currently shooting a 284 Shehane for both benchrest and f class.
Been shooting since 1980 and started with pistols and had a 22 rifle which I used at an indoor range. As for the pistols/revolvers I had about 7 in total and loved shooting in competition locally and also at Pistol Anno Domini at Bisley.
After we had them stolen I got into TR rifle shooting at my local range with the City of Newcastle club and enjoyed that, but reading Target Shooting mag spotted an article on benchrest at Diggle and went down to check it out. Got hooked and bought a 6ppc LV rifle and from there went into long range benchrest which I preferred.
After that I tried F class and was at the first F class shoot at Bisley on a freezing day when the F class league was formed and still doing it.
So am looking forward to the F class league shoots for 2012 and the beer and curry events which sometimes makes up for my dodgy wind calls.
Best wishes to all.
Les

Apologies, should have put my last post/photo on the meet me section, but no idea of how to delete it/transfer it.

Welcome Les.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

At the moment there is a Les, Les, Les and Des on the F class circuit. So it can get a little confusing when someone shouts "Oi Les" and we all turnaround to answer!

Hi, I think that my intake of beer and curry actually improve my results. I believe that it has been proved scientifically as well. So who am I to go in the face of the scientists. Just bought some stretchy pants to allow expansion.
