Middle England - another newbie

#1 Post by majordisorder »

Hi All,

Having been playing with a 12bore for the last couple of years I've decided to go full-bore at last

My probationary period is nearly up at a local club and I'm poised to put in for my ticket, I'll be limited to gallery calibres there and have got my eye on either a 30 carbine or 9mm from SGC along with a plinker in 22lr.

I've lurked for a couple of weeks and thought it about time I joined in, asked some questions and spent a bit more time investigating the options.

Evening and welcome!

So we did not scare you off then

Erm, do us all a favour and list in your profile whereabouts you are in the country...just cirka and all that.

That goes for all members!
It does make life easier...

Welcome to FB, we have a 2-3 shooters that I can think of on here with the 9mm SSG, in fact I worked on one a while ago but am yet to shoot one, they look to be a lot of fun.

At the moment I'm a member of Northampton Target Sports Club but also considering joining the NRA for the odd visit to Bisley. I'd also like recommendations for other ranges in or around my area where you can just turn up and shoot, if there are any?
