Had a good experience with a gun shop or rifle maker? Found a good deal? Tell us about it. Had a bad experience, TELL THE GUN SHOP!

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Out in the boonies but worth a drive over, they are the only place I know that stocks all of the powder we use at home and they also carry Lapua bullets and some of the more obscure SMK's

Huge range of firearms as well and a good chip shop in the local village.

They also do 10% discount to club members and it does not seem to matter which club either. Maybe we can persuade them to include Full-Bore UK Forum members?

Parking is a bit limited and ignore the sign outside saying they shut at lunchtime Saturday.

As far as trying to get info on them via the 'net - I have them down as a waste of time

Asked several times for pics of some of the guns that they have on the selling sites - no pics many weeks later

Yet they have their own web sight as I had a look the other day , and it says see Guntrader . Seemed a bit off to me . In the past when looking their prices always seemed about 20% higher than other dealers .

Oh I like 'em a lot. You used to be able to wander at will through their stocks of rifles - bought more than one on impulse having held it for a while - don't imagine you can do that on a saturday now. Haven't been for some months but always go armed with every club membership card I've got and a shopping list. They seem to apply the 10% on whatever yeah yeah. Gun prices used to have the reputation for, erm, not being at the bottom end but not phased about taking offers especially on old military rifles.

Don't mess with the dogs.

Now let me tell you, my daughter got her wedding dress in the nearby town of St.Ives. This involved several daughter and mum saturday morning fitting sessions. So I'd drop them off in town and shuffle over to Fenland. The second time it happened one of the staff said "You here again?" so I explained what was up, "Bring this man a chair and get him a cup of tea!!" Maybe that's why I like 'um.

A Saturday morning in the back room sorting through the stock of s*** old service rifles with Adrian is always fun. As club members we get 10% off everything automatically, after that it is just a matter of negotiating.
