The 6,5SE is a very accurate cartridge and the newer chambers capable of withstanding higher pressures make for a good long distance tool. I shoot Christels 6,5-284 S&L quite often with Lap 139's and N560 and it is a stunningly accurate rifle but barrel life could be an issue. It is running at 2900fps as it is shot three position and I still manage to hold good scores at longer distances.
