Hi everybody,new member here,but not new to shooting.Main interest is military rifles,full and smallbore.
Living in N Yorkshire and shoot here,Derbyshire and Bisley.

Welcome to the forum, where do you shoot in Derbyshire? I used to shoot at the Derbyshire Shooting Centre many years ago.

Hi,the range we use is Thorpe Range,top side of Ashbourne,its goes back to 500 yds,do you know it?

Mauserm - welcome, is that a private range and not MoD?

Can I ask with which club you shoot there? I only live 20 mins from Ashbourne and was not aware it was there!! (off to Google now)

OK, I know the name but have not visited it. Given the layout of the land I am always surprised there are not more 100-500m ranges in that part of Derbyshire, the problem as ever is getting planning permission the moment you stray into the Peak.
