Very likely old news to some on here, interesting pictures and a not so nice ending to the young pilot.

Flight Sergeant Dennis Copping came from Rochford, Essex. Apparently they are looking for his family to ask what they would like to do if his remains are ever found. It would be good to lay him to rest in a proper and fitting way.

I believe the museum at RAF Hendon are negotiating with the authorities to send a team out with the idea of bringing it back.
Apparently they have found the nephew of the pilot. He runs a bar in Ireland and is pleased they have found the plane and hopes they will find his remains. He didn't know him but his mum, the pilots sister, said he was a very quiet man and they were surprised when he joined up.
