Winchester 94AE .45LC

#1 Post by John25 »

My lifter and spring have broken, just as I knew they would, because they do.

Does anyone know where I can get some?

Went in the TP1 yesterday.

I reckon you're going to have a bit of problem John. I've had a trawl for you on half a dozen US sites I use for parts and no one has any of these in stock. Ironic that could find parts for guns that stopped being made over a century ago, but nothing for the 94AE which only went out of production a couple of years ago!

In all honesty, unless you come across someone with "old stock" you may just have to keep an eye out on some of the "gun breakers" of obsolete guns, such as Numrich.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Nothing on numrich.

Plan A is to keep searching, pland B is to learn how to use my new milling machine!

Should keep me busy for a while :o

I had problems finding an ejector part for my AE a few years back - in the end I got the part from Canada, but I can't find the address now...I'm seeing someone on Wednesday who might remember...if so I'll let you know....

The same as Saddler said: Western gunparts (didn't recognise the website) - As I remember it was a good service; the whole thing done over the phone...but you have to give them the correct part number...
