Greetings from North Wiltshire

#1 Post by LeighC »

Evening all, stumbled across this forum by accident and, having been disappointed by other forums in the past, decided to join. Been shooting for a number of years, shotgun for game and FAC for target only. Unfortunately I'm not wealthy or connected enough for game shooting with a rifle and pigeon and rabbit just don't do it for me.

I'm interested in military small arms, I also shoot a number of disciplines at club level. Only held an FAC since October, didn't really give it much thought until then, I just collected deacts.

Prior to that, numerous trips to visit family in Northern BC, Canada where I have been fortunate enough to get out in the Wilderness on Black Bear, Coyote, Wolf, Moose and Caribou.

Member of the Sportsmans Association, very keen to see the return of pistol shooting (albeit .22 and only if the Government don't lie to us again).

My armoury at present:-

Beretta 686E 12g o/u
1917 BSA Lee Enfield .303
Marlin 1894 .44 Mag
Izhmash AK-47 7.62x39
GSG-5SD .22rf
Remington 700 .308
Pedersoli Rogers & Spencer Revolver .44

Welcome Leigh,

Where in North Wilts?

I used to have a fair amount of stalking and vermin control just outside Chippenham, plus a bit more dotted about wilts.
