Mini McQueen @ Spring into Action Weekend (SAW)

A great video showing how the McQueen is shot. In this case in .22lr Gallery rifle at 50 meters.

I can not get my head around how the targets appear. As this was shot on the gallery rifle range (Melville) there would have been no room for someone to have been moving the targets.
Was each target individual and controlled from the point?

Yes, I noticed the holes in the Mantle on the Left. I assume that is why it is being limited to .22lr and not open to all gallery rifles,

The exposure on the last shot was very short and there seemed to be huge gaps between each exposure. Dinky little target, I have seem bigger lollipops!

it was run on the timed part of bianchi,or to you who dont know,running boar........the sytem is hand made by someone,and operated by remote......its in no danger of being shot out...........by the was,it proved to be very very popular.......

I couldn't make the SAW, so really hope they run this at some of the other meetings...

well done to the people who went to the trouble to make this! I hope they manage to get it rolled out for general use, I for one would love to break out the .22 for this bad boy!

Does anyone know what happened to this?

It wasn't at the Phoenix, and I havn't heard anyone mention it since the SAW....
